Opening of the Junction City Branch

In Junction City, a new MD Bank branch commenced operations on November 2nd. In 2022, when it initially debuted in Junction City, the establishment experienced an overwhelming triumph. The Board of Directors/Board of Commissioners and shareholders, along with attendees of the branch’s ceremonial inauguration, including both newcomers and loyal customers, are sincerely appreciated. In a promising development, MD Bank has taken proactive steps towards expanding its Digital Banking system, paving the way for the establishment of new branches across Myanmar.

On January 20, 2016, MD Bank was granted a business licence by the Companies Registration Office. The licence was issued to MD Bank as a limited company affiliated with MD Bank, and it is associated with the business registration number (3246/2015-2016) (Raka). On November 15, 2018, the Central Bank of Myanmar granted us a business licence, allowing us to officially begin our commercial banking operations.

In order to enhance the convenience of our valued banking customers, we are consistently expanding our branch network in Myanmar’s key economic centres.
