5th Annual General Meeting

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its 5th Annual General Meeting, held on the 30th December, 2023, at the MD Bank Head Office. The meeting was attended by esteemed members of the BOD/BOC, shareholders, and members of the Management Committee.

The AGM commenced with an opening speech delivered by U Yone Mu, the Patron of MD Bank, setting a tone of unity and purpose for the meeting. U Pye Phyo Aung, Chairman of MD Bank, delivered the speech and presented the Board of Directors’ report, providing a comprehensive overview of the bank’s performance, achievements, and strategic initiatives. U Htun Htun Oo, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, addressed the attendees with a detailed presentation of the financial report, highlighting key fiscal indicators and the bank’s financial matter.

The interactive session saw Chairman and BOD members addressing pre-submitted questions from shareholders and responding to suggestions and queries from those present at the meeting, fostering transparency and engagement.

The 5th AGM was formally concluded with closing speeches from U Yone Mu, Patron of MD Bank, and U Pye Phyo Aung, Chairman of MD Bank. We extend appreciation to its shareholders, members of the BOD/BOC, and all participants for contributing to the success of the 5th AGM.
